We specialize in English style riding for hunters and jumpers, drawing the basics from dressage principles. Assistant trainers Stephanie Herndaez and Stephanie Price teach beginner-intermediate lessons and Susan Horn teaches the advanced level lessons. Stephanie Price also offers adult classes on Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Lessons are available in packages and monthly training programs. 

Prospering Farm riders compete at shows within the North Texas Hunter Jumper Club and Dallas Scholarship Hunter Jumper Club, and select “A” shows in the area. Our facilities allow us to host shows for NTHJC, DHJSC, IEA, and in-barn schooling shows several times throughout the year.

Prospering Farm also has an IEA team (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) for students in grades 4-12. Riders on the team compete within IEA Zone 7, Region 4. We regularly see riders on the Prospering Farm IEA team move on to postseason competition at the Region, Zone, and even National level.

All newcomers to Prospering Farm start with an evaluation lesson so that they are placed in the appropriate class. Evaluation lessons are an hour and half start-to-finish and are priced at $100.

To get on our waitlist for lessons, please fill out this Google form with as much detail as possible. When we have a spot we can email you. You must make a submission to be contacted for an evaluation lesson in the future. We work through the waitlist as fast as we can, but please be patient as we do so.

Regarding ongoing lessons, you can take 8 individual lessons or you must join a program. For the beginner rider that rides once a week we have a package program of 8 lessons. These lessons must be used up within 75 days (unless special arrangements have been made in advance). The lesson prices are the same no matter if it is a 1/2 hour private or an hour group. We offer several partial training programs for riders that ride twice a week or more and are more advanced; plus we partially lease many of the lesson horses. We have more advanced programs for the advanced rider.
